Beautiful rare to find, circa 1940s vintage Voluptè brass powder compact mirror. It’s in very good vintage condition. The Cameo part is surrounded by gold hearts and gemstones, with scalloped edges. Due to its age, there is some discoloration on the metal parts on the outside of the product, as can be seen in the photos. Made in USA.
About the Voluptè company: The firm was founded in the mid 1920s in Elizabeth, New Jersey. As well as manufacturing elegant vanities Volupte created costume jewellery, cigarette cases, compact mirrors and accessories.
