Antique silver-plated William Hutton & Sons cut glass biscuit jar or candy holder with lid and handle. It’s in very good vintage condition. There are two small black dots on the outside of the glass. They are probably paint that can be removed. They are visible, but not really noticeable. Marked. Made in Britain.
About the WH & S company: This is the maker's mark for the prominent British silversmith company, William Hutton & Sons, of Sheffield, England. The company was active in Sheffield beginning in 1832 and was later taken over in 1930.
